Shihan Eddie Daniels commenced his karate training in 1965 and transitioned to Shukokai in 1968 under the tutelage of Soke Shigeru Kimura. He was a member of the All-Styles British Squad from 1970 to 1975 and was twice inducted into the Combat Hall of Fame. Based in Birmingham, England, his primary dojo was in Blackheath.

Shihan Daniels was known for sharing his passion for karate with his family and students alike. His legacy continues to influence karate-ka worldwide.
